Week 4

This was a very important week as I was able to set up a meeting with my potential mentor and I was also able to find a project to produce.

This coming Wednesday (Feb 1) I will go to an event hosted by Race Service and I will meet Oz Omen, and all the other people from the company. This will be a great opportunity to network and find potential people to interview for class. What I want to get out of this event is just to meet new people and make new connections that could help me as soon as I get out of school.

In the past week I reached out to my documentary professor from last semester (Fall 2022) to see if he had anyone in his class who needed a producer. I ended up reaching out to a friend whom I had a class with my first semester at LMU and he did not have a producer so I told him I would help him make his documentary. We met last Thursday (Jan 26) and we discussed his topic and how to go about it. He is making his documentary about the new AI software ChatGPT, and he wants to interview professors to see how they are reacting to it, or if they are implementing it into their courses. I am helping him reaching out to professors and guiding him in the right direction.

I believe this past week was very successful, and I was able to get on the right track for the semester.
